HERE is the transcript... (Full Transcript) What is it about his personality or attitude that leads you to believe that he can compete? "Anything we do we feel is in the best interest of the team. He's a talented player that's hard working and smart. We'll see how it goes." How much of a consideration was the attention that you knew was going to come with signing Tim? "None. Try to do what's best for the team." How do you feel with a player coming in with all this fan fair and celebrity? "In all honestly, we've done this in front of bigger crowds than this before. We'll just keep doing what our job is. We're going to try to get better as a football team, individually and collectively. That's what we're going to try to do." How do you plan to use him? What position? "A position? We're going to do what we think is best for our football team. I don't know. We'll see." Possibly on special teams or defense, in addition to offense? "I don't know. We'll see." What are some of the things you liked about Tim last year and the year before? "He's a talent guy. Smart. Works hard. We've all seen him play; he can do a lot of things. We've seen that." Specific to that position (quarterback), do you have an ideal number for the 53-man roster? "No." Can you talk about your relationship with Tim? "I like Tim. I have a lot of respect for Tim." You all have had a close relationship over the years? "I've never coached him before, so I'm closer to a lot of the players that I've coaches through my career." There are people around the league that question his ability to play quarterback in the NFL. What do you say about that? "I think I've already said that." I'm talking specifically about quarterback. "I've already said that twice. He's a talented quarterback, who is hard working and smart." Did you have to discuss with him some of the ancillary stuff, the way his training camp was covered last year, some of the stuff outside of football? "Look, we have a team full of players. Everybody has a job to do. I'm sure he'll try to do the best he can. We'll all try to do the best we can." Are you worried this will cause a distraction? "Hopefully, there will be more than that at the games on Sundays." Do you have any objections of Tim kneeling down and praying, Tebowing, as it's become known as? "We've talked enough about him. Let's see how he does and we'll go from there." But do you have any objections? That's kind of what he's known for. Yea, I think I've covered it. Anything else?
