Start ut your thanksgiving meal with vegetables and a glass of water before proceeding to eat other dips, deserts and drinks. This will help you feel satisfied and prevent the dreaded “food coma” from overeating.
Any physical activity counts! Raking leaves, taking the dog on a walk, and sweeping/mopping the floors all keep our bodies moving. You can always make chores more challenging by doing lunges when mopping or seeing who can rake the fastest.
