Watch your portion sizes when eating out. Ask for a to-go container and take half your meal home.
This can sometimes be an incredible challenge but if you eat small portions throughout the day it makes it much easier.
Consider meals as if you are grazing. No need to overeat. The greatest mistake we make is skipping meals and over-eating.
Cut back on the salt gradually by shaking that salt shaker only half the amount you’d normally add. Use herbs and spices such as Mrs. Dash to create flavor.
High cholesterol? Try adding soluble fiber to your diet. This will help flush cholesterol out. Foods such as oats, beans, apples, carrots, and nuts are good sources of soluble fiber.
