You knew it was coming.  I was really and truly hoping that articles like this would at the very least wait until after THIS season to pop up... but you knew it was coming.  What if the playoff system were in place last year??  Listen, I'm not blasting the story idea because I get it, I understand the idea behind it... but here is my issue.  We are going to be absolutely inundated with this storyline for the next two years. 

Every time a poll is released, every time a match-up is projected, it will always be tagged with the idea that it would be different if a playoff was in place.  So consider this the obvious warning that we all knew was coming.  What if the playoff was in place... will become one of the most popular storylines over the next two years.  Prepare yourself.
