USA Today - In terms of point spreads, Texas State’s 30-13 victory over Houston last weekend was one of the biggest upsets in the last 32 years of college football. The Bobcats were 34.5-point underdogs in their first Division I game and won by 17. Pregame.com said it was the first time such a big underdog had won a game by double digits. It was just the seventh occasion since 1980 in which a team favored by so many points lost a game. None of this came as a surprise to one bettor in Las Vegas. According to William Hill, a customer at Binion’s wagered $2,000 on Texas State to win the game outright. He got 60-to-1 odds on the bet and netted $120,000 when the Bobcats pulled the upset.

If you walk in at Binion's, and place 2K on Texas State to win...You have a serious gambling problem.  Winning this money did not help this guy at all.  If I won that kind of money, my life would be changed.  This is a situation where he is going to be worse than ever before.  He will now drive his life into the ground betting every underdog he can find.  Congrats though!  Can I borrow a few bucks?
